- Open PostUp and sign in (postup.golf/start).
- Tap your picture (or Me) to open your profile.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
- Type DELETE to confirm. It happens straight away and you’re signed out on every device.
Can’t sign in? Email [email protected] from the address on your account with “Delete my account” and we’ll do it within 7 days.
What’s deleted
- Your profile: name, email addresses, photo, about, home course, handicap index
- Your posts, photos, comments and reactions, and who you follow and who follows you
- Your messages and notifications
- Your payment usernames (Venmo, Cash App, PayPal), practice, shot maps, swing checks, saved bag and settings
- Your memberships in season games and pick’em pools, and anything only you used
What stays — without your name
Some of your scores are part of other golfers’ results: a league week, a tournament or outing leaderboard, a cup, a round you played with friends, a settle-up line. So those don’t break, the scores stay but your name becomes “Former golfer” and your email and contact details are removed. A tee time you booked stays on the course’s sheet without your details.
A season game or pool you started passes to the next member; if nobody else is in it, it’s deleted.
How long it takes
Deleting in the app is immediate. Copies in backups are overwritten within 30 days.
